CONSTRUCTORS VENEZOLANOS CA (CONVECA) is a Venezuelan construction company established in 1970 by Giuseppe Basso an Italian immigrant. Mr. Giuseppe Basso along with his Son Mr. Renzo Basso have been great examples of leadership, mentorship, responsibility, and perseverance throughout CONVECA’s 50 years.
CONVECA focuses on diverse sectors including horizontal directional drilling ( HDD ), pipelines, gas, oil, energy, mining, civil constructions, Petrochemical and industrial plants, and much more. CONVECA has been a key factor in the oil sector in Venezuela.
CONVECA is also very experienced in the daily works of civil construction. CONVECA to-date has done over 600 projects in the Civil and Oil Gas Pipeline sector, including Venezuela’s longest HDD crossings in 2015.

Our unique 300-ton HDD rig has helped clear significant obstacles around Venezuelan soil.In1987 Conveca started its first Gas pipeline project, 1990 the first Replacement of pipes was finished, 1995 the first completion of Valve stations, 2000 was finishing of the large diameter water pipes of 120 inch. for a refinery construction project. 2010 deep conversion projects – Gas pipelines oil pipelines – poliductos – thermoelectric plants.
